The hotel is located about 20 minutes away from the Montreal city. The rooms , bathroom and the dining area is very clean and well kept. The staff if friendly. We enjoyed staying there.

One of the most comfortable rooms I’ve stayed in! Great bed, great pillows, and wonderful shower! Very clean and neat and modern. Located right in the old town area and very walkable to many of the local points of interest. Nice large breakfast area. Laundry situation was funky, but no big deal.

Nice stay. Get's busy during the day time as it doubles up as a community center. At night, it was really quiet and desolate. A little bit away from everything so would recommend staying here with a car. Staff is very nice and rooms were clean. Parking is free which is a huge plus in Vancouver. I would stay here again in the future.

I really enjoyed the breakfast. I was skeptical at first when I saw the room, but I was extremely satisfied with the taste and the ease of getting food.
Space in the room is exceptional. Felt like home. Ample space for storage which would be hand if families visit.

Side of property is under construction. Staff was helpful and prompt. Restaurant charged $4.00 per “unit” of tiny shrimp, which were overcooked. Restaurant service poor.

Owen at the front desk is the best hotel receptionist I've ever met. The rooms were spacious. My kids loved the pool, hot tub, and slide. Close to many good options. Great breakfast and hard-working breakfast staff. Great hotel

We went to Whistler for family ski vacation. Our stay at the Pan Pacific was excellent. Their ski valet and ski locker mountain side was a valuable service. Staff was excellent: helpful, cheerful, invaluable. Would absolutely stay there again.

Weekend getaways in Canada are a popular short-break option for couples, solo travelers, and groups of friends looking to relax, explore, or enjoy a change of scenery without extensive planning. Couples can enjoy relaxed experiences such as dining, scenic walks, or cultural activities, while solo travelers can explore flexible itineraries that balance sightseeing and downtime. If its a group trip, explore social, entertainment-focused experiences that fit into a short trip. Weekend travel generally peaks on Friday and Saturday nights, with a slightly quieter pace on Sundays, making it an ideal window for quick, refreshing breaks.
Reasons to book a Weekend Getaway in Canada
Weekend getaways in Canada are a popular short-break option that offer a simple way to recharge, break from routine, and make the most of limited time, providing the chance to experience a new place without needing extended time off work or other commitments.
Where to stay in Canada
For a 2–3 day stay in Canada, the best areas are usually those that keep you close to key attractions and transport links so you can make the most of a short visit. Central neighborhoods are ideal for easy access to landmarks, dining, and nightlife, while waterfront or scenic districts offer a more relaxed break with memorable views. Well-connected areas near major train stations or airports are also practical choices, making it simple to move around efficiently without wasting time on travel.
Different neighborhoods can also suit different travel styles. Central and entertainment-focused areas often work well for couples looking for a mix of dining and a lively center, while solo travelers may prefer well-connected districts that offer convenience and flexibility. Group travelers often benefit from busy areas with plenty of entertainment, shared activities, and larger hotel options. Choosing the right neighborhood in Canada helps balance convenience, comfort, and experience for a well-rounded short stay.
Top amenities for a weekend stay in Canada
When choosing a weekend stay in Canada on EasyTrip, look for essentials like fast Wi-Fi, flexible check-in and check-out, and easy transport access to help you make the most of a short trip, along with comfortable bedding, climate control, and quiet rooms for proper rest between plans. Added conveniences such as on-site dining, breakfast options, and 24-hour reception can streamline your stay, while features like gyms, spas, or pools add extra value for a more relaxing break. Flexible cancellation is also helpful for keeping your weekend plans stress-free and adaptable, making it easier to enjoy a smooth, well-paced stay in Canada.
Best hotel types for Weekend Getaways in Canada
Central hotels and boutique hotels are popular choices for weekend getaways in Canada, offering easy access to attractions, dining, and local experiences. City hotels in well-connected areas are ideal for convenience, with transport links that make it easy to get around. For a more relaxed pace, residential or quieter neighborhoods provide a calmer stay while still keeping the city within easy reach. Full-service hotels are also a strong option for groups, with flexible room setups and amenities that support shared, short stays.
Best time to go for a Weekend Getaway in Canada
The best time for a weekend getaway in Canada is usually during shoulder seasons, when weather conditions are pleasant and areas are less filled with tourists, creating a more relaxed travel experience. Weekends outside major holidays and local events also tend to offer a better balance of availability and comfort, making it easier to enjoy the destination at a comfortable pace.
In terms of booking, confirming a stay a few weeks in advance often provides the best choice of hotels and locations, while more flexible travelers may still find good options closer to the weekend during quieter periods. Friday and Saturday nights are typically the most popular, so planning around slightly less busy weekends or adding a Sunday night can sometimes improve both value and availability.
Tips to save on a weekend getaway in Canada
Travel during quieter weekends Choosing weekends outside major holidays, events, or peak travel periods in Canada can often lead to better rates and more availability across a wider range of hotels.
Stay slightly outside the main areas Hotels in well-connected but less central neighborhoods are often more affordable, while still keeping attractions and dining within easy reach.
Be flexible with hotel type and room choice Opting for standard rooms or business and city hotels instead of premium or boutique stays can help reduce costs without sacrificing comfort.
Compare package deals for better value Weekend getaway packages that bundle hotel stays with flights can often provide better overall value than booking each element separately.
